What is more graceful than a Yacht under way, with the sails billowing, reaching, tacking and heeling over with the wind? If this is your dream, the Fairwind III is for you! She is easy to sail and easy to prepare for the water. The hull is a one-piece painted fiberglass moulding. The two piece extruded aluminum mast dismantles for easy transportation and the booms are also made of aluminum. The Fairwind III has both a rudder servo and a sail winch servo for realistic control. The main sail and jib have battens to maintain their shape, just like the sails on full-size yachts. The kit includes many detailed chromed parts like the scale wheel, railings, anchor, bumpers and the many other features that make the Fairwind III look just like a miniature version of a real yacht. This yacht is an established AMYA One Design Class.
